I'm happy to announce I am the official owner of a brand spankin' new iPad (did I mention how much I love my Hubs and his big surprises on Christmas).
We're loving it (especially Mia). It's just as awesome as I thought it was going to be.
Now that I have tackled the playroom and am just about finished with Mia's big girl room, I'm almost ready to get reading again.
So all you iPad folks out there, I need some things from you:
1. Suggested apps that are good for toddlers
2. Suggested books that I could put on my Kindle app. I posted this same request on Twitter over the weekend and it was all about The Hunger Games. Anything else out there? Not that I'm opposed but I like variety. I'm currently finishing The Help (that I have been reading off and on for months), but once I'm done it's game on Kindle.
Hope you all had a wonderful Christmas!

Awesome! There is a free Toy Story app that Cooper loves. It has coloring, games and stories and you can even record yourself reading the story. And of course Angry Birds. :)
Hubs did well! Mine gave me a nook, which is what I wanted. I asked twitter for books too, but came up short. I gave hubs the hunger games trilogy so no point in buying it again.
Let me know if you find any great books!
I don't read a lot of fiction but when I'm looking for new books the "best of" lists are helpful and there's lots of them this time of year. Amazon has their best of 2011 up and they have the best by month throughout the year. I check out other readers comments too. I bet you would like Tina Fey's Bossypants. I'm about to get that.
I will bring my iPad tonight to show you some apps!
One other thing about the Kindle is you get get free samples... check out the beginning of the book to see if you are going to like it. I do that all the time.
Happy reading!
